Our Company Furnace World

Our company has been in business in the Pikes Peak region since 1996. In 2011 we decided to create a brand where our focus was to target moms at home with kiddos, and moms working outside the home too. That is why we picked the family stick figure design to use in our advertising. Basically, as a mom with young kids at the time, our owner/ceo Lisa Coffy, felt that no other residential heating & air conditioning company understood what was important to her. “I wanted to feel safe & respected in my home, and I wanted the experience to be simple & worry-free.” And that became our mission for our family of customers...Our Soldiers & Veterans, Moms, Dads, Grandmas, Grandpas, Little Brothers & Sisters, and all our 4-legged customers too.

Our technicians have EPA certifications, hold Mech 4 licenses, and complete a minimum of 50 hours of training each year.

Using the HVAC-trade skills Jeff Coffy learned in the Air Force, he founded his own commercial heating company named Climate Technology in 1996.

In 2012, under the ownership and management of Jeff's wife Lisa, our residential division of Furnace World was launched.

Lisa's company purpose is more personal and goes beyond fixing heating and cooling equipment. "It's about providing customers (especially women) an experience where they feel safe and respected. It's important to us that all customers are empowered with a basic education about their equipment."


Since our start, we've had the privilege of serving over 40,000 businesses and families in El Paso County.
Many customers were acquired through word-of-mouth referrals. We have much to be thankful for.
