Our company has been in business in the Pikes Peak region since 1996. In 2011 we decided to create a brand where our focus was to target moms at home with kiddos, and moms working outside the home too. That is why we picked the family stick figure design to use in our advertising. Basically, as a mom with young kids at the time, our owner/ceo Lisa Coffy, felt that no other residential heating & air conditioning company understood what was important to her. “I wanted to feel safe & respected in my home, and I wanted the experience to be simple & worry-free.” And that became our mission for our family of customers...Our Soldiers & Veterans, Moms, Dads, Grandmas, Grandpas, Little Brothers & Sisters, and all our 4-legged customers too.
We’ve adopted the “Cycle of Business” concept in how to be successful in business…it is quite simple.
Fun Fact: 75% of our team is former military or in a military family.
You are in good hands.
As a company that recruits on character first then skill, our team is top-notch. We thought we would share with you the results of a survey that was completed by our service technicians. They were given a list of 150 values and were asked to circle the values that are core to our customers. These were the top 10.
Our technicians have EPA certifications, hold Mech 4 licenses, and complete a minimum of 50 hours of training each year.
All are background checked and approved by our Owner/CEO Lisa
FYI-At Furnace World everyone’s job description has one thing in common. The primary responsibility of all our employees is to “Wow” our customers to earn a 5 star rating.
Are you considering Furnace World as your heating and cooling HVAC company? We want to make sure you know what makes our company different including all the ways we can serve you and how much we appreciate you.
Using the HVAC-trade skills Jeff Coffy learned in the Air Force, he founded his own commercial heating company named Climate Technology in 1996.
In 2012, under the ownership and management of Jeff's wife Lisa, our residential division of Furnace World was launched.
Lisa's company purpose is more personal and goes beyond fixing heating and cooling equipment. "It's about providing customers (especially women) an experience where they feel safe and respected. It's important to us that all customers are empowered with a basic education about their equipment."
Since our start, we've had the privilege of serving over 40,000 businesses and families in El Paso County.
Many customers were acquired through word-of-mouth referrals. We have much to be thankful for.
We promise to provide customers with a simple and worry-free experience. If something doesn't sit right with you, please tell us. We are committed to you and want you as a customer for life.
We appreciate you and hope to serve you and your family shortly.

If we could, we would, but there are too many variables to give ballparks “guesses” on repairs. In order to stand by our upfront prices, we must see and diagnose the situation before quoting a price. We do, however, offer second-opinion phone consultations for AC and furnace repair in Colorado Springs, CO. Did you know that, according to Forbes, a furnace typically lasts 15 to 20 years? If you suspect yours might be facing issues, don't hesitate to contact us.
Our technicians carry a truck stock of common items needed for repairs. However, due to the large number of makes and models of residential units, some parts may have to be purchased from a local supplier or ordered from another source. Shipping and time to pick up parts will be included in the quote for your AC or furnace repair in Colorado Springs, CO.
As our company strives to make things as simple and transparent as possible, our service fee is charged whether you choose to get a furnace or AC repair in Colorado Springs, CO or not. We need to pay our highly qualified technicians for their expertise in troubleshooting and diagnosing your heating or cooling problem. This benefits you with the assurance that our technicians have your best interest at heart and that they won't try to “sell” you on a repair you don’t need just so our company gets paid. Experience has taught us that companies that waive this fee tend to work that price into the repair.
This is the area where we are truly different. Furnace World’s 365 Guarantee is simple. After one year, if you're unhappy with your furnace or A/C that we installed, and we’ve been given an opportunity to solve the issue, we'll remove the equipment and refund your money.
We also offer three to seven-year labor warranties on furnace and AC equipment installed. If there's a failure due to our workmanship or a part's failure not caused by a natural or a national disaster, the repair labor is free for up to three years! If you participate in our annual maintenance plan "COMFORT CLUB," which includes an annual tuneup within 30 days of the installation anniversary, that labor warranty is extended every year you participate for up to seven years. Manufacturers also have their own warranties. Yours will be outlined on your contract and invoice with us. We always make sure to register your warranty for you. Repair warranties are for one year on all labor and parts. If you have any further questions about our AC and furnace repair in Colorado Springs, CO, contact us today.
